*BONUS* Recipe <3

This recipe is a hit with the family i nanny. it is one of their favourites and quickly became one of mine!!!!

Quiona and Turkey Lettuce Wraps

Ingredients:
Ground Turkey
1 1/2 cups uncooked quiona
2 1/2 cups cold water
1/2 tsp salt
1 tbsp grapeseed oil
1 tsp sesame oil
2 cloves pressed garlic
2 tsp grated ginger
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp maple syrup
1 tbsp cornstarch
grated carrot (2 carrots)
thin slices of pepper (2 peppers)
head of lettuce

Directions:
In a saucepan sauté oil, garlic, ginger and carrot on medium for 5 minutes, add water quiona and salt. Bring mixture to a boil and then cook covered on low heat for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand for an additional 5 minutes. Fully cook the ground turkey in a frying pan, add red pepper and sauté until just soft. Add soy sauce and maple syrup. Mix cornstarch with 1/4 cup of cold water until fully dissolved, add to turkey mixture, adding more cold water as required. Heat and stir until sauce thickens. Combine quiona and turkey mixtures together. Separate lettuce leaves to be used for wraps

*serve with sweet chili sauce and lime wedges or wasabi mayo*
